Brosella Folk and Jazz festival – created at the initiative of the City of Brussels – has grown into a hugely successful international music event. This unique two-day festival is held in the fairy open-air Green Theater at the foot of the Atomium. Saturday is traditionally dedicated to folk music and Sunday to jazz. Children have their own very special ‘Brosella Kids festival’, full of fun, concerts and workshops. 2016 marks Brosella Folk & Jazz festival’s 40th anniversary. An anniversary to be celebrated in style! A novelty this year is for instance the ‘Brussels Poets Speakers’ Corner’, in collaboration with the Brussels Poetry Collective, where poets will bring poetry of all sorts and languages.
